Corey Johnson is Professor and Head of the Department of Geography, Environment, and Sustainability at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He serves as co-editor of the journal Geopolitics. Corey’s research and teaching areas include the political geography of Europe and Eurasia, borders and border security, natural resources and energy geopolitics, and Germany. Originally from Emporia, Kansas, Corey holds a Ph.D. in geography from the University of Oregon and a BA in geography (honors) and German from the University of Kansas.
